PRISM’s Redesigned Dashboard Cuts the Clicks for Admin Users

June 25, 2026

We have rolled out a redesigned Dashboard built to save Admin users valuable time — replacing the old navigation with a single, configurable home screen.

Less Hunting, More Doing

The update was shaped by PRISM’s desire to provide key and useful information to its valued stakeholders: the goal was to minimize having too many clicks to find the right information. The new Dashboard answers that directly with two core upgrades — full customization and a powerful visual snapshot.

Customizable layout. Admins can now drag, reorder, and arrange widgets to match how they actually work. A College Manager can prioritize course capacity and student alerts; a Guidance Counselor can put registrations front and center.

Global Search. The standout feature of this release. Admins can search a student by name and land directly in their profile or enrollment activity — no extra clicks. Searching a Course Offering surfaces one-click access to edit the course, check class progress, or pull attendance. It’s a direct fix for time lost navigating menus.

Built for the Admin Workflow

Several widgets specifically streamline Admin oversight:

  • Key Metrics — enrollments, alerts, and capacity at a glance, no report-running required
  • Student Alerts — flags attendance, credit, and engagement concerns automatically, keeping at-risk students visible without a separate pull
  • Active Course Offerings — a real-time view of what’s currently running
  • Recent Registrations — the latest enrollment and withdrawal activity in one place
  • Important Upcoming Dates and Latest News — College Administrators manage both directly, keeping school and board partners aligned without extra emails or calls
  • Featured Course Offerings — Admins can flag priority courses from the Edit Course Offering screen, pushing them straight to School Board dashboards instead of relying on outside communication

The Bottom Line

For Admin users, the redesign consolidates what used to take multiple steps — searching, reporting, cross-checking — into one configurable screen. We will continue to refine the Dashboard based on our valued users experiences, and welcome all feedback emailed directly to  your PRISM contact.
